Recently we had the pleasure of pampering beauty editor Kate Pendergrast, her best friend Sile and their mums for a Mother's Day feature in the Kent Messenger supplement Focus. The session took place at the Smart and Simple Hotel in Tunbridge Wells.

With a treatment menu of facials, manicures and pedicures, SFC beauticians Martine and Natasha preened and pampered the girls and their mums whilst they enjoyed a chilled glass of chardonnay and a good old natter. Blissful! Kate and Sile's mums thoroughly enjoyed the treatments, saying that it was a fantastic early Mother's Day gift.

Official Hairstylists at The National Wedding Show - February 2009

It's been a hectic and exciting weekend, having just exhibited and worked backstage as the official hairstylists at the National Wedding Show.

We have been preening and styling the models for the catwalk shows throughout the weekend. The fashion shows took place 4 times day, and when we weren't backstage, we were at our designated hair and makeup stand giving free advice and mini consultations for 100+ brides-to-be.


The response we received as a result was fantastic - so many brides have already enquired about our mobile hair and makeup service. It also helps that we travel throughout the UK. Our diaries for Spring/Summer 09 is filling up fast and we're looking forward to visiting the homes and hotel venues of our new customers shortly.

Re: Competition Pampering!

Hi, As you know this was a prize I won through opening a window on the Wahanda Advent calendar. I chose to have this session on my 50th birthday with my sister at our mother's house. Susan arrived on time for our appointment. She carried out the various treatments carefully and thoroughly, and tidied up as she went along. My sister and I both enjoyed our time with her and felt great afterwards.

Susan was also very pleasant and friendly, we found her interesting to talk to. My mum was initially a bit horrified when I announced that I was going to use her living room for this session, but was soon reassured when she met Susan.

I was delighted with the whole experience although of course the fact that this was a prize made it even better. I would be happy to recommend your services to anyone - and will do to a friend who is getting married soon.
